SSDC is the premier, privately run, Competitive Springboard Diving Club
in New England and is located on the South Shore of Massachusetts.
SSDC is a certified AAU Junior Springboard Diving Program.

2023 AAU DIVING NATIONALS
This past July, SSDC divers competed at the AAU Diving National Championships in the beautiful, Riverside, California. Congratulations to SSDC's DIVERS: Captain Allie McCABE, Lily “Belle” MacDonald. Ava “Vaa” PRESKENIS and Colleen “Coll” SISK!
All of SSDC’s National Divers performed in an outstanding manner and conducted and managed to extemely competitive against the best in the United States. Allie McCabe, became a 2-time AAU-ALL-AMERICAN on both 1 meter and 3 meter springboards.“I am so proud of all the SSDC divers with one never having been to a National Championship before”. I certainly look forward to helping them all develop to the next level in 2023/2024!” CONGRATULATIONS to all the competitors as you give honor yourselves, your community, your family, and SSDC!
WELCOME TO SOUTH SHORE DIVING!!!
CAPTAIN SALLY “RO” PENSWICK is a Junior at Sturgis Charter School on Cape Cod. Although she is not able to complete in MIAA High School diving events, Sally is an AAU National championship diver on both 1 and 3 meter springboards. Sally is in the midst of her college search and looks to dive in college!
SSDC divers embody the best qualities of sportsmanship, work ethic, and pride, fostered by a close-knit, supportive team community. We take seriously the development of our athletes as competitive divers in a safe and methodical way, but are most proud of how they apply the leadership lessons learned from diving as they move beyond the world of diving: to college, work, and beyond.
SSDC divers proudly represent their club team, schools, and their communities, competing at local, state, and national competitions!
SSDC - DIVING in COLLEGE!
Erin “Kiki” Murphy continues to break University records as a Junior for NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY! Delaney Smith, Junior, has medically retired from competitive but will continue to servie the team through her graduation at the UNIVERSITY OF RHODE ISLAND. Kyra Cavicchi, Junior, is making a difference diving for MARIST COLLEGE. Alex Waltman, Junior, was a walk-on and become the a team points leader diving for CASE WESTERN UNIVERSITY! Tierney “T” Regan, Sophomore, is making big contribtions to BOSTON COLLEGE Diving Team while Camille “Cam” Gendron, Sophomore, is a shining star and part of the travel team @ UCONN. Joining Tierney is Freshman, Allie McCabe diving for the BC Eagles! Olivia Templeton, Freshman, will be a contributor for the EAST CAROLINA UNIVERSITY while Cam Pope, Freshman, will set the tone for the Fairfield Stags! Grace “GB” Blume will be a stand out for the UNIVERSITY of NEW HAMPSHIRE.

CAPTAIN COLLEEN “COLL” SISK is a Junior at Norwood High School. Collen got serious about diving her Sophomore year and has accelerated her skilled and recently earned 9th at the MIAA D1 STATE DIVING FINALS! Coll competed at the AAU National Diving Championships in 2023 will be returing to Nationals this July in Fort Lauderdale! Colleen is in the midst of her college search and looks to dive in college!

SSDC’s Senior Captain,
OLIVIA TEMPLETON, a recent Senior @ Duxbury High School, has earned her 4th “National Interscholastic Coaches Association” (NISCA) DIVING “ALL-AMERICA” for 2023 and SSDC’s 7th club diver to achieve this honor.
As a NISCA ALL-AMERICA Diver, Olivia caps off a stellar diving career at Duxbury High School and among the top 100 High School divers in the USA.
Olivia is excited to continue her diving at East Carolina University and has been diving for the South Shore Diving Club (SSDC) for the past 9+ years. We are very excited for Olivia’s accomplishments and she looks to reach new heights with her diving in college while studying to be a Registered Nurse.

OLIVIA TEMPLETON, a senior from Duxbury High School is the newly minted MIAA D2 STATE DIVING CHAMPION!
Olivia fought off a lot of tough competition to achieve 1st place in the highly competitive state High School program. SSDC is extremely proud of Olivia’s accomplishment along with her other team members completing to be the best of the best in High School diving.
Olivia achieved an overall 11-dive score of 492.45!
CAMERON “CAM” POPE, a senior from Marshfield High School is the newly minted MIAA D2 STATE DIVING CHAMPION!
Cameron Pope dominated the competition and achieved 1st place in the highly Division 2 state High School program. SSDC is extremely proud of Cam’s accomplishment. Cam is very excited to be the new State Championship and it is a lot of hard work that has been fulfilled!
Cam achieved an overall 11-dive score of 499.55!
RACHAEL “RAE” SILVA, a sophomore from Durfee High School is the new MIAA D1 STATE DIVING CHAMPION!
Rachael had a tough fight on her hands as she battled all 3 rounds of the competition and then achieved 1st place in the highly competitive state D1 High School program. SSDC is extremely proud of Rae’s accomplishment and looks forward to her continued success!
Rachael achieved an overall score of 423.85!
SSDC had 4 D2 Girls Divers in the TOP 12 and 3 in the TOP 4 places!
Grace “GB” Blume, Dedham High School fought her way from behind the pack to earn 3rd place amongst the nest of the best!
Lily “Belle” MacDonald, Norwell High School, is a fierce competitor and stayed “focused” throughout the event and was consistent in every dive she performed!
Ava “Vaa” Preskenis, Westwood High School, surprised many as a greatly improved diver for her team and showed incredible grace and fortitude beating out 16 divers to earn 12th place!
